HW Services

Skytechnology has the knowledge and the expertise to support the customers in the design of electronic boards, following completely or in part the work cycle, from the drafting of the requirements to the delivery of the prototypes or series.

FPGA Services

The FPGA development is one of the main activities of Skytechnology. We improve continuously our skills and we are up to date at the state of art of FPGA technologies related to programmable logic controllers. Projects of any complexity can be managed and brought to successful completion. Our engineers are subject to continuously courses of design to FPGA, HDL coding and Project Management.

SW Services

Skytechnology designs, develops and tests Firmware and Software based on multiple HW/SW platforms. We cooperate with Companies applying the workflows close to the main sector standards like EN 50128 (Transportation), ECSS (Space), RTCA/DO-178B (Avionic) IEC 62304 (Medical), ISO 26262 (Automotive). According to the sector and customer needs the applied project workflow follows the classic Water-Fall scheme or the Agile scheme if it needs to apply an iterative and incremental method of managing the design and build activities.

Test & Simulation Systems

Skytechnology provides solutions able to check devices against physical and functional requirements. The test bench are equipped both by cots and custom HW and are CE certified. The line also develops functional models to integrate into test bench, realizing rapid prototyping systems. We cooperate with the customers to analyze the system requirements and tailor the test applications, based on detailed requirements documents, formal test plan and test procedure documents


Skytechnology helps small and medium-sized companies and large international groups, providing consultancy in the development and procurement of products conforming to the international standards (IEC / EN, ANSI / IEEE, ISO, CMMI). Supports customers in developing a strategy for the safety and compliance of products by managing the changes resulting from the new standards or new editions of standards.

OPEN VPx boards

The VP-2101 is a 3U OpenVPX™ board for general purpose I/O applications requiring air-cooled or conduction cooled equipment. It is designed for the most demanding applications, combining system-on-chip capabilities together with the flexibility of interfaces customization via several available add-on modules. DO-254 certification package and manufacturing data package are also available on customer demand

MFE (Multipath Fading Emulator)

The Skytechnology Multipath Fading Emulator (MFE) is a SW to control a RF instrument, which allows the user to conduct frequency selective fading tests on microwave radio receivers, implementing Rummeler model. The instrument is built on top of NI hardware platform, thus offering a certain degree of flexibility, in terms of expandability, both functional and hardware


TOE-FX101 is an ultra-low latency 1G or 10G Ethernet TCP- IP core engine designed for high-performances network applications. It is designed and developed in full custom FPGA architecture (no embedded processor). The core implements the RFC based TCP protocol with an easy to use interface.
