During last years, several markets have observed a growth of complexity of electronic systems, a reduction of time to market and strong dynamics of technical innovation. Even a stable market as this one is now exhibiting the same trend.

In R&D our competences may be employed from system design to prototype deployment, following several project phases both from methodological and development standpoints.

We can support our clients in software development and validation, hazard analysis and RMT calculation, hardware development and prototyping, FPGA design, development and validation, ATE for validation activities and  real-time simulator (HIL) for systems validation and integration.

In production environments, our testing and simulation competences are employed in functional and End-of-Line testing.

Skytechnology supports the design of complex systems by means of its knowledge of equipment standards, analog/digital electrical/optical interfaces and military communication links (MIL1553, ARINC 429), as well as all-around competences like embedded  hardware and firmware development, electronic device testability (like JTAG), database integration and Web services.

Besides the aforementioned competences, Skytechnology has strong backgrounds in RAMS  analysis (DoD), MTBF (MIL-HDBK217), FMEA FMECA (MIL-STD 1629), VHDL code validation, DO254, fw/sw code validation DO178 and  DEF STAN 00-55.
